Hibachi at Nagoya is delicious!
We had asked for the tuna to be a bit more than just seared…but were told it was prepared ahead of time and they could not even just put it back in a pan to cook it a bit more, they also could not tell us if there were dairy or eggs present for allergy purposes…no manager on site today. So, I’m only assuming it’s microwaved? But, disappointing to say the least.
Repeatedly sat larger parties before us and other families. We were told 30 minute wait upon arrival…. We gave up after an hour. The host just kept telling us they were cleaning the tables for Hibachi but all of them were full. No apology or explanation. I heard the host admit to another family that he sat a larger group before them and out of order. They completely ruined what should have been a memorable night for my daughter.

Nagoya | Asian Fusion • Hibachi • Sushi offers good quantity and quality of food with a unique taste. Meals include shrimp fried rice, three musketeers roll, seared tuna, and snow crab salad, which was the best snowcrab salad ever. Guests are immediately served delicious clear soups when seated. The chefs provide an interactive experience with entertaining humor, and the cook is fantastic. However, the wait staff receives mixed reviews; some waitresses are very kind and do a great job, while others are not friendly, seem bothered by drink refill requests, or are on their phones and vaping around customers. The restaurant can be very warm due to all the grills, and the atmosphere could use a pick me up. Despite service issues, the food really hits the spot, and the restaurant deserves big props for patiently seating a party of 14 on a Saturday night. Many guests will return.
