My son had his wedding reception at Melvin's on the back patio and the dock. Although it was very hot because they chose an outdoor venue in july, it was a great setup. If you are considering renting the venue as an event, please check it out and be prepared to bring fans, portable air conditions, or cooling towers in the summertime. The buffet style food line went smoothly and the food was outstanding.

Came here for a special occasion and they didn't disappoint! There have been times in the past where so couldn't have written such a glowing review but they've really stepped up. Wonderful friendly and attentive service (wasn't extremely busy). We were sat by the window, our favorite spot. The food was excellent; the newest chef has really stepped up and owned their place! Will be returning for sure.
