“we needed a gumbo and potato salad for a small pre Thanksgiving dinner at our shop. nobody wanted to cook it so I gave them a phone call. I ordered 3 gallons of chicken and sausage gumbo a tray of potato salad and the rice. 20 total people got their bellies full and there was nothing left of anything! it was great, everybody loved the gumbo said it was just right had just enough kick without being overbearing and a tremendous amount of meat! so glad I made that phone call.”

We are in a motorhome, stayed 1/2 mile away at the Blue Heron campground and found this place on a Google search. I highly recommend anyone to stop by and have a cold one.🍻”

“It's a good enough Burger King. Fried pickles. I don't know if they are specific for this store or not. The special chicken wraps were disappointing. They cut the typical chicken patty from a chicken sandwich in half. The wrap was a dried tortilla that crumbled. They had fried cheese tots on the menu but they ran out.”

“This place is a big hit or miss alot. Sometimes the staff is super friendly and your order is correct and nothing is wrong, while sometimes I have gotten cold chilli cheese fries or tots because the chilli wasn't hot at all. The pretzels and drink are always great.”

But what truly set it apart for me in the past was the unforgettable service behind the bar from Keegan! Her humor hit harder than a tequila shot at 11pm, and somehow, she always knew exactly what drink you needed. (She put me on to Palomas — I’ve been hooked ever since.) I heard she’s back but I haven’t seen her? Anyways, the drinks miss her. The regulars miss her. Los Ponchos fam, I’ve gotta say — the bar just hasn’t quite been the same without her. Just something to think about for those who know how to recognize true talent in action.”
