Place was dirty and the drain area under the soda machine smelled like sewage. It just felt gross it sit inside and eat. The food was good though and the service was faster than usual.
The service is generally good. The food has been good for a while. However, for the past year, I have had several instances of gristle in the beef. This last time we ordered a pound of beef to go and at least 30% of it has gristle and some pieces were only gristle. The quality has gone down noticeably. The chicken was also a little dry on my last visit.
I like how I can easily customize my order online to pick up through toast and earn points to save on future orders. I like 3 loaded brisket birria and ground beef tacos with guacamole, cilantro ranch, black olives, cilantro, pico de gallo, corn, extra cheese and queso. Taco Tuesday $6.50 special is a hot as well. I enjoy my izzo's fix once a week. ?
