Locals love this place
I picked up a few things from Keller's Bakery Downtown for a family breakfast. The blueberry muffins were soft with plenty of berries, and the cinnamon rolls had a nice balance of sweetness and spice. I also grabbed a loaf of French bread, which had a crisp crust and a soft center. Everything was packaged carefully, and the variety made it easy to find something everyone in the family enjoyed.
Keller's Bakery - Pecan Cream Cheese - is one of my favorite cakes in Lafayette. They are soft and not overly sweet. Another great combination.

While the cakes may not look overly fluffy, they are deliciously moist with a great filling ratio, especially the pecan & cream cheese variety. Despite the busy Mardi Gras season, the exceptional service, friendly staff, and high-quality king cakes make it a worthwhile visit. The bakery is known for its sweet treats, including sand tarts with chocolate and a variety of items in the coolers. The atmosphere is chilled, mellow, and friendly, with fast service and a clean store. Customers appreciate the kind and welcoming staff, who are patient and helpful when choosing from many delicious options. The bakery also offers the best coconut cake and cream puffs, with fillings that are always freshly made.
