Best restaurant in the Lafayette area. Captivating food and even better service. Special shoutout to Joshua, Nathan, John, Andre, Caleb, and Adian for being the backbone of this establishment. Lastly the manager Whitney radiates positivity and creates a great dining atmosphere!

Great food. Fast and friendly service.
The food was mediocre at best. One hamburger with hard rubbery, along with the bun, the second hamburger, was delicious yet lacked all condiments. They were asked for several times before they were brought. I had a shrimp dish, served on cold rice with cold guacamole, cold beans and cold corn shrimp are the only thing warm... flavor was good, but could not stand to eat the cold rice any more with it.... The waiter never provided napkins. Silverware, and again, each item that we ordered had to be asked for several times as in drinks. No fries were brought with my husband's burger. Those had to be requested separately. Although they are listen to come with the burger. Add to the family environment. They have eighteen and up games and absolutely nothing for the younger children to do.There is no family environment. There is simply a sports bar.Environment. ninety one dollars for a family of 32 have burgers and fries is ridiculous

One of the few places left in Lafayette to get a mushroom and swiss burger. It's consistently good and the meat has a good flavor. Good, thin, crispy onion rings. The sauce that comes with the spicy ranch fries is delicious and they are well seasoned. I enjoy the fried pickles as well- they're thin and crunchy like chips. Had a classic sports bar feel but I haven't been inside since the remodel.

How is this place popular? The service is terrible and the food is mediocre. A bunch of little things piling up that made it annoying to eat here. Decent atmosphere tho

I'll be honest, I miss the old Pete's, layout and the way it used to look when I was a kid and my mom would take me on Wednesdays for a Lil Pete's. It was fun, it was dark, it ha5s booths, it had the arcade. I went back recently was Shook how much the remodel changed it. It was one Big Room now with a giant Square bar and tables against the walls, and Very Bright inside.
It looked like one of those Tech Bro bars in Seattle or something. Even the onion rings changed, no more big wide onion rings with the flaky crust, it's small tiny thin onions rings now, still decently good and tasty yet disappointing because I miss those big wide onions rings they used to have. When I went in and sat down with my friends, it didn't even feel like we were in Pete's, it felt like some generic pool hall without the pool tables. It feels like a Seattle Microsoft Employee after work bar.
My childhood is officially dead. Lafayette Bar Restaurants has permanently changed and too modern looking now.

Hadn’t been in a few years. Nice upgrades but still had old Pete’s charm. Great bartenders

My daughter and I have been visiting different establishments, trying burgers and Fries in the Lafayette area!
Well went to Pete’s last week, and I must say, so much has changed about this place since I was younger!
My daughter got a small Pete, with bacon! She rated it a 6/10! She loved the bread used for the burger, and loved how well the meat was cooked! She felt it was under seasoned!
I purchased the bbq bacon burger, and I rather it a 7.4/10. It was very good, juicy patties, cooked medium, with a great house made bbq sauce! The bacon was crispy, and enjoyable, and the buns were very good! The patties were under seasoned imo also, and the bbq stole the show!
Overall a very nice place to visit with friends and family! We had a great time, it was during lunch, and was a bit crowded and loud!
Appetizers: Fried pickles and Queso! Great combo! Highly recommend!

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 out of 5 stars
Came here with the fam, and it was my first time back in years. I remember Pete’s as the go-to spot after sports events when I was a kid — back when it had more of a game-heavy, casual vibe. But they’ve really remodeled the place, and it looks great now. The interior has a much more elevated, modern feel while still keeping it casual and welcoming.
The atmosphere was awesome, and the food was even better — definitely a strong 5 out of 5 on that front. It’s not the Pete’s I remember from childhood, but that’s not a bad thing. They’ve done a solid job growing with the times while still staying true to what makes it a local favorite.
