The Chimes Lafayette Reviews
This past Friday was my first experience having food/drinks there. I had some coworkers that joined me. We ordered the crawfish fries, the spinach artichoke dip, and the fried shrimp. Everything was delicious but those crawfish fries were out of this world! So yummy! Dylan was our waiter and he recommended the “Whale Hello There” cocktail which is now a new favorite of mine. Thanks for the excellent service, Dylan! We want to request you when we dine there again!
My first time at the Lafayette location and certainly not the last. Our group was really large and the service, Trey did a fantastic job. He was friendly and very accommodating. Everything I ate was fantastic, but the onion rings were the real deal.. a hefty portion and fried to perfection. it was a little loud inside, but the atmosphere was great. 10/10
Went today for the first time and food and service was both amazing! I don’t usually like to try new places but I’m glad I finally gave this place a try!

The Chimes Lafayette is a great restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. The property features a massive live oak shaded patio and a lovely bar and dining room with soaring ceilings and a rustic vibe. The staff is super friendly, and the bartenders provide excellent Southern Hospitality and Customer Service. Servers, like Hunter, offer great service, making recommendations and patiently accommodating guest needs. The food is excellent, with popular dishes including crab brie soup, oysters, shrimp and grits, catfish perdu, spring salad with grilled shrimp, and bread pudding. Recent reviews highlight the delicious crawfish mac-n-cheese, seafood lasagna, and the New Orleans style BBQ shrimp poboy, which is noted for its perfect bread, shrimp, and sauce. The restaurant has a great building and outdoor gazebo, making it suitable for both romantic and family gatherings. The oysters are absolutely delicious, and the catfish perdu is a favorite, with fluffy rice, flaky catfish, and crawfish etouffee on top. The kids menu has a hearty selection, and the restaurant provides a cozy atmosphere with natural lighting, making it a little gem of Lafayette. Portions are large, allowing guests to leave with lunch for the next day. The service is attentive and super friendly, with a clean and romantic ambiance, perfect for a regular visit and for those exploring the Cajun flavors of Louisiana.
