Visiting Lafayette just for the evening and went looking for beef. Read about Vestal and decided to give it a try. WOW! Great evening delicious steaks cooked to perfection. Also had the beef tartar and 6 local oysters appetizers. Highly recommend - be sure to get a reservation.
I had family come into town and brought her to Vestal. She absolutely loved it. The taste experience on the palette is one that supersedes all expectations. You don't know what you are missing. You need to make this your next stop.
Enjoyed everything we had and the service was great. We had cocktails and I enjoyed the Pinot Grigio. Served ice cold which was delicious with the tuna crudo, chargrilled oysters and I was shocked at how good the focaccia was. Our group had 2 filets, snapper on the half shell, crab spaghetti and the sides we ordered were Caesar salad, cauliflower, fingerling potatoes and Brussel's sprouts. All were perfect. Thanks Daniel for a good experience.
