Nogal Mexican Cuisine & Bar

We got to Nogals just as they opened for lunch, last minute decision and I'm SO HAPPY we picked this place!! We enjoyed EVERYTHING from the environment, the staff, and the food. I'll definitely be returning! I HIGHLY recommend this place!!!

So glad we stopped for lunch. Definitely a place to bring the crew. The Flautas were on point and the Chile Colorado was amazing. So far the best Mexican restaurant we have found in Lake Charles! Hopefully it's this good the next time we visit!

Really great menu. Lots of options. I love the queso. My partner always gets the carne asada and he says it’s the best steak in town. Try the margaritas! The traditional lime margaritas are tops!

Not sure what's the secret but the steak fajitas are always good.

Good food, the worst part was the seating. The hostess and the wait staff had a good conversation going and didn't notice us standing there for 5 minutes. Other than that it was good. Our waitress made up for it though she did a very good job 👍

Me encantaba ir a este lugar por tacos , pero la última vez tuve una experiencia súper desagradable. Pedí una agua mineral y la pedí con Tajín al rededor , la bebí y en el primer trago , un cabello salió en mi boca , cabello que no era mío por el color . Se lo hice saber a la chica que nos estaba atendiendo, y me dijo lo siento es de la chica que está preparando los tragos , me trajo otro vaso y cuando puse el agua mineral salió flotando una mosca que estaba en el hielo . La chica nos dijo uy lo siento les diré que limpien donde está el hielo . Pedimos hablar con el gerente únicamente para hacerle saber los acontecimientos y que tuvieran más cuidado con la higiene y jamás nos contestaron nunca está el gerente , siempre está en la tienda según dice . Jamás regresaremos ahí, tengan cuidado y revisen bien sus vasos y comida .
