“You are greeted car side/door service by a friendly gentleman(white/brown puppy). Goes by the name Ca$h. Feel free to greet him with a “slim Jim”. You are then welcomed by the establishment pool shark/bartender Jimmy. Distinguished gentleman who promptly takes your beverage order. Wanda, owner/better half of the self proclaimed pool shark welcomes you in by with such warmth and genuine love. If that’s not enough welcome for you, the establishment chef (aka “Auntie”) will gladly take your order for some good ol’ tasty vittles! I highly recommend the bacon burger as they don’t have “bar tacos”. 🥸. Play a tune, talk some shit, play pool, have some cocktails/beers and meet some pretty cool people.

“This should be a one star review but It's hard for me to do that when it's the actions of one in particular person.
Came in for a visit today the first time I have been in a Captian Ds in a very long time. I am from out of town so this Store in particular is New for me.
The lady behind the counter taking our order was upset from the very moment we walked in. My very first question to her was if they still had lobster rolls? Her reply was do you see a sign for them anywhere? I said no and she was like ok then ! From that point on No matter how respectful Me,my wife or my two children were to her she was very snappy and angry . I was later told by another employee that her Name is Ms Deena.
"MS Denna" I am not sure what we said or did to you. It's hard for me to understand why you treated us much different then other customers. Is it because you were having a bad day or Maybe the fact we are white is the reason we were treated much differently? Why were you so angry and short tempered? I really hate to think that My Race was the reason you made us feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome. Even my 9yo the one who was telling you Please,Thank you , Yes ma'am and No ma'am and you completely ignored him even after telling you to have a nice day couldn't understand what he did wrong to you.
I have struggled to write this all day. I am not a hateful or a prejudice person and have nothing but love for you. It just really bothers me as to why you didn't want us there !
As for the rest of your employees the ones we interacted with were very Pleasant especially Olivia. The food was hot and fresh . My wife's Potatoe was hard but Olivia took care of it with no problems. Unfortunately I will not be back. I do not want my kids or myself being in another unwelcoming situation or for us to be talked down to like lesser human beings!.“

“She was very kind. The food was more than amazing 🤩. I ordered a 3 piece wing and a side of boudin egg rolls. I also picked up a praline candy. The egg rolls were flavorful and delicious. The chicken was crispy and delicious and the praline candy was delicious as well and buttery to taste. I do recommend!!!!!“
