Wagon Master Reviews
Me and my husband usually love this place but tonight we went and he ordered an 8 oz sirloin, we had to have it recooked 2 times because we ordered medium rare and it came out blue twice. He then found a piece of aluminum foil in his mac and cheese. My steak was good except for the last third of it that was also away underdone. Talked to the manager and was told our entree would be removed from the bill but then was told by the waitress that since it was remade we had to pay...read full review
Come here once a year when we come out to support the lions camp. The server was amazing but unfortunately the kitchen was horrible. I ordered the duke (ribeye) med well with bake potato and my daughter ordered an 8oz filet med well with a bake potato. We received our food last and the steaks were cooked way over well done and they ran out of potato’s! How do you eat a steak with no bake potato! The Wagon Master is known as one of the best steakhouses in the area, offering a generous Western Cut Steak cooked to perfection. The green beans and Mac n cheese are tasty, although the seasoning on the steak could be improved. The steaks are good and well-cooked, with many noting they are prepared medium. The service is speedy and friendly, with staff that are super sweet and nice, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant is also family-friendly, with a good selection for children 12 and under. Customers have praised the excellent food and service, with the only complaint being that the homemade mashed potatoes need more seasoning. The restaurant is known for its delicious rolls, hot food, and great atmosphere, with some missing the peanuts of old, but understanding the change due to COVID-19. Overall, the Wagon Master is a true gem and a diamond in the rough, highly recommended for those in the area.
