“We came with a large group, and everything was excellent. The food and drinks were delicious and came out quickly. Any small issues were taken care of right away. “When I say I am addicted to their birria tacos, that is an understatement. I’ve tried many restaurants birria tacos about 4 others to exact lol. This spot tops them all, I just can’t get enough! From the dipping sauce to the tacos themselves the hot sauce provided on the side….OMG!“

“Been here twice now and both times I was not disappointed at all. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Mexican food, well worth the price. I personally recommend the tuna fajitas, it's superb. I would also recommend the margaritas, they are delicious and way better el paso.“

“No puedo creer que hayan pasado 25 años! Hoy, mi esposo y yo estuvimos celebrando el 25 Aniversario de este magnifico Restaurant, La Carreta, en Hammond Louisiana, parece que fue ayer cuando se inauguró , nosotros estuvimos ese memorable día en que abrió sus puertas por primera vez , y hasta el día de hoy ha dado un magnífico servicio , felicitamos al propietario Saul Rubio por su excelente trabajo , deseándole más éxito . “Great authentic Mexican food.“
“Got here the night before. They have two dock doors. I backed into the furthest one away from the ramp. I didn't back all the way into the dock. Just enough so I was out of the way. They come in @ 7 am. When they came in they had me back into the other dock door closest to the ramp. Nobody bothered me all night while parked. I had 3/4 of a trailer load. They had me unloaded less than a hour. Very nice people.“

“Great place for lunch. It beats Hammond and Ponchatoula for food and service. It wasn't busy Thursday lunchtime so didn't have much atmosphere. Plenty of space and very colorful all over. I had the pastor wrap (not a preacher) which was so good.“

“We have never had a problem with this Taco Bell always been great service and food always hot and good. BUT DO NOT USE UBER EATS TO HAVE THIS DELIVERED ORDER NEVER SHOWED UP AND EVEN THOUGH WE COULD PROVE DRIVER NEVER CAME (we have cameras all the way around our house) UBER EATS WILL NOT REFUND OUR MONEY!!!!“

“Love trying new places. So we took a drive. First time going yesterday and won’t be the last! The Salsa is amazing! Fresh hot chips, yummy. Had the street tacos and I can honestly say they were delicious. I also had a beef tamale, wrapped in corn husk. It met my expectations and then some. Having lived in Austin I was missing a good homemade tamale and I finally found my fix. Yay! Bought a dozen to take home to freeze. Can’t wait to try their Chimichanga and other items. Small quaint little place with great food and service. Very reasonably priced. Worth the drive.“
