Very nice evening at Impastato's. Parking lot was full but the restaurant had our reservation and we were seated immediately. We each had the 4 course special. One with the fish entrée and other softshell crab. Both entrees were excellent, the softshell was one of the tastiest I've ever had. We found a reasonably priced wine we liked. Sevice was very good.
The service was excellent, friendly, and professional from the moment we walked in. The food was fantastic. The Stuffed Artichoke Bottom was fabulous and covered with lump crab meat. The entire 5-course meal was fantastic, but the Fettuccini Alfredo was the best in the world. Paper-thin pasta and a dreamy-creamy alfredo sauce melt in your mouth.
I used open table to book the reservations. As always, it was effortless. The service, ambience, and food were excellent. I had the soft shell crabs with crab meat and lemon butter sauce. Outstanding!!
