I visiting Toledo Bend reservoir and had lunch here on June 16, 2022.I sat down at a dirty table, and waited about 15 minutes before the young female took my order.They did not clean my table, even though I asked for a rag to clean my table. I was treaded like an outsider.The food was pretty good, but the service was kinda lousy.
Went to Gulf Station Cafe after hearing great things from several friends and family. I ordered a patty melt with Philly cheese fries. Delicious! ? Staff is super friendly. The only complaints I have are that they need more healthier options on the menu and I wish the Patty Melt wasn't on Rye bread! Other than that everything was super!

Sit yourself diner style atmosphere. Not the fastest, but enjoyable. Food (chicken fried steak, redeye gravy, two eggs over easy, hash brown potatoes, white toast and decafinated coffee) was perfectly cooked. No water automatically was served. No refill offered on the decafinated coffee. Salt shaker top was once accidently filled with pepper but not cleaned, so it was the same color of pepper, but hosed out salt.
