“A perfect fusion of American classics and Louisiana dishes cooked over open wood-fueled flame , served up in a comfortable and modern concept. Came on recommendation from two different locals who said this was the best restaurant in Lafayette. We were not disappointed. Reservations were needed, but the hostess was able to accommodate us by the kitchen. It worked out GREAT. Was able to see the chef, Sullivan, and his crew perform their magic on each of the dishes. Every member of the staff was very friendly - from the hostess, servers, chef, our waiter Zach, and the general manager Aaron. Just get two orders of the Roasted Oysters to start. Trust me on this one. Even the Mac and Cheese was delicious! The creme brulee was delectably perfect. Get it! If cocktails are your jam, you won't be disappointed with the selection. My only gripe was that it was very loud on a Saturday at 7 PM. Felt like it was a night club. Made conversation challenging at times. If you need to change diapers, the unisex bathrooms will have accommodations for your baby. A thoughtful touch. Will definitely return if I ever come back to Lafayette.”

“it was a very nice place & the food was delicious! my friend & i both ordered a soda . i got a brownie a la mode & she got a malt . they were both delicious but the staffing was honestly very rude . we didn’t know what we wanted as i am new to the area & never been to a place like this before. upon walking in we sit at the bar & automatically get greated by an older lady who already didnt seem like she was having a good day. workers were hollering across the restaurant talking about others . we were taking our time overlooking the whole menu before we ordered & the lady behind the bar helped recommended some things but did it in a very passive demeanor . we then ordered our things & i didn’t even receive my brownie at first , i received just a sunday . when i pointed out that i didn’t receive my brownie another lady huffed & puffed while throwing it on a plate & in the microwave . i told her not to worry about putting anything on it & i would take it like that . she slide it to me on the bar , then proceeded to talk about my friend & i very loudly . we were there maybe 30 minutes , & honestly i want to give it another try . i just didn’t appreciate the servers on shift that day”

“We had a birthday celebration on Saturday night. I called for reservations a week in advanced, received a text confirmation minutes later. I then received a text reminder on Friday. THEN a phone call an hour before. The service was excellent. The food was fantastic and well priced. The drinks were well made. Couldn't have asked for a better birthday dinner with family and friends.”

“We went in Saturday without a reservation and lucked out with the last table available. I love the atmosphere. I appreciate the good wine choices and had a great glass of Malbec. Our entrees were excellent. We had pizza and the special of the night. Service was excellent and we will certainly be back!
Reminder all bread is made in-house and to die for!

Vegetarian options: I am not a Vegetarian but try to have two - three plus days of only veggies per week. There are plenty of pasta and vegi options or pizza or calzones and ingredients are of high quality!”
