“We had a birthday celebration on Saturday night. I called for reservations a week in advanced, received a text confirmation minutes later. I then received a text reminder on Friday. THEN a phone call an hour before. The service was excellent. The food was fantastic and well priced. The drinks were well made. Couldn't have asked for a better birthday dinner with family and friends.“

“This is one of the best bars in Downtown Lafayette and a big part of why this bar is so fun is that the bartenders take fantastic care of you! You get really top notch excellent service here that is fast and friendly. They always seem to be having a good time in this joint and you also have the option of the huge patio in the rear of this spot where you can have a totally different environment which is also lots of fun. Overall this is just a great spot where they take great care of you.“

“We went in Saturday without a reservation and lucked out with the last table available. I love the atmosphere. I appreciate the good wine choices and had a great glass of Malbec. Our entrees were excellent. We had pizza and the special of the night. Service was excellent and we will certainly be back!
Reminder all bread is made in-house and to die for!

Vegetarian options: I am not a Vegetarian but try to have two - three plus days of only veggies per week. There are plenty of pasta and vegi options or pizza or calzones and ingredients are of high quality!“

“I know this place very well! My girlfriend's Landlord, Mr John owns this bar and it's certainly a staple in Lafayette. Great live music on the weekends and a cool kind of local new Orleans vibe to the bar during the week days. Must check it out! Hope to see ya there!

Parking: There's parking in front of the bar and across the street there's an entire parking lot that also belongs to Gloria's.

“Good bar food. Beer selection was weak for porters and dark beers. Zero barrel aged. How are you a tap house with zero barrel aged options? Not one KBS even. Nice people and great customers. Nice TVs. Music not too loud so you can enjoy company.

“While most of these drinks are totally disgusting, I just loved the novelty of a drive-up daiquiri window and their pricing for specials. There are pool tables but no one was there using them when we were there. That drive through sure was busy though! Oh, and don't mess with the raccoons living out of the dumpster out back---they are favored regulars!“

“The downtown Annex is always a solid lunch or dinner choice. The service and atmosphere are top notch. the outside patio is great for people watching and its convenient when at a festival or events downtown. Centrally located with ample parking on the side of the building.“

“This is a good little whole in the wall bar. Drink prices are really cheap. Its small so the music can be too loud sometimes. There is no menu. No food to order. They do cook occasionally and offer the food free if charge. When they do cook the food is good.“

“It's a great bar with pools tables, music playing was great. Was there around 9:30pm on a Friday and it wasn't packed at all. 3 or 4 bartenders but only a few customers on one side of the bar, we sit on the otherside that was empty and it took me about 4 minutes to get a beer. We decided to go somewhere else so i finished my beer and waited forever just to pay. I was close to walking out without paying for my beer. The bartenders were all on the one side and never made eye contact my way. I could understand if it was really busy but it wasn't at all. But maybe just a bad night because I've had better experiences here in the past so I'll definitely try again.“

The honey, pepperoni, jalapeño combo of the Paulie was to die for.

The curly sue was a DELICIOUS white pizza with the pistachio ricotta and pepperoni.
