“I live in Youngsville. I have diabetes and only have a daiquiri once every 2 or 3 months since being diagnosed but have had an addiction for 30 years. Since the Daiquiri Depot change on 90, I have been driving to Cameron St in Scott to get my fix. Today they weren't open as the hours posted so I drove for nothing. Asked a buddy who works at Dominos where to get a daiquiri in Youngsville; he said next door. I stopped at Jax for the 1st time.... Friendly as All Hell! Purty Bartedresses! Cutest smiles. I ordered a special fixins Daiquiri that only happens 1 of 3 months and they put it together beautifully and mildly sweet as opposed to most others which you can feel rotting your teeth and gut. GREAT Drink! Very fairly priced! Gonna be hard to resist an increased frequency of reacquaintance! Whew Boi!Got a new monkey!!!!!!“

“Amazing customer service! There was a mix up with our Waitr (ASAP) order. They were given the wrong order to deliver that was under the same name as ours (honest mistake) but Waitr was not able to go back and get it due to policy. An employee of Yoka drove to our home and delivered our correct food. Food was fresh and delicious!“

“We reserved the peacock room for one of my best friend's bridal brunch. Everything was so good! Food was delicious. Bottomless mimosas were perfect. But the thing I really need to give kudos to is our absolute rockstar of a waiter, Joey. He was phenomenal. It was busy, he had other tables and we were seated UPSTAIRS- his only party upstairs mind you, but he was so attentive, friendly, kind, and never missed a beat, even in the most busiest of times, he made us feel like we were the most important group there. She gave us great recommendations for our apps and entrees. She paid special attention to my gluten free preference and made sure that I got exactly what I asked for. She spoke highly about her boss and colleagues. You can tell that she thoroughly enjoys working there. Our dining experience was pleasant all the way throughout. “Cozy, romantic, and super cool place. Came on a Wednesday night and saw a Cajun Jam. Small area to dance. I was very happy that they had Miller High Life in a bottle because it's my favorite and not sold in a lot of places.“

“This is a great looking joint with a nice selection of beer in tap and liquors. Great for getting the office together or the guts to watch football or the game. Food was good but didn’t seem “original” to a place of this caliber. Prices are decent in this day and age at a place like this but the service… If you ain’t a local you get third rate service. The bartender disappears when I wanted to order food and my next drink. When she was there she had good recommendations and was polite but after I get a drink she would go associate with the locals and not pay one bit of attention. There is plenty of TV’s here for the game viewing.“

“I know this place very well! My girlfriend's Landlord, Mr John owns this bar and it's certainly a staple in Lafayette. Great live music on the weekends and a cool kind of local new Orleans vibe to the bar during the week days. Must check it out! Hope to see ya there!

Parking: There's parking in front of the bar and across the street there's an entire parking lot that also belongs to Gloria's.

“Let me tell yall something, I love this place! I have been going here for the last few years and the service has always been great with friendly bartenders working hard while having fun as well. It's one of the few bar/clubs where I feel comfortable.
Music is what I've noticed hasn't quite changed in the last few years. I definitely recommend an upgrade and even some guest DJs would be awesome!

“I was passing through town on my way from Houston to Jackson Mississippi and I stopped for gas in Lafayette, feeling pretty tired from driving and wanting to take a break and honestly I just needed a quick drink because I was on my way to a funeral and I was really stressed out with work and family and all that stuff leading up to this trip. So I’ve never even been to Lafayette but I stumbled upon this place after searching for a small bar were I could have a quiet drink and stretch my legs so I decided to give it a try. The people here were so nice and welcoming to a complete stranger who walked in late at night. I got to hear a lot of the local’s stories and learned some history about Lafayette and it was just over great. I didn’t know what to expect when I walked in but I’ll never forget this awesome little place and how kind they were. I felt a lot better after leaving and I’ll definitely stop again one day when I’m passing through Louisiana again.“

“Cannot say enough about this place. We held my daughter’s wedding reception here. Everything was amazing. Communication before and up to the event. Staff went above and beyond! And the bartenders were the best! Would absolutely recommend for any type of event!“

“The downtown Annex is always a solid lunch or dinner choice. The service and atmosphere are top notch. the outside patio is great for people watching and its convenient when at a festival or events downtown. Centrally located with ample parking on the side of the building.“

“Really enjoyed this place on our first night in Lafayette after dinner. The bartender was very friendly, despite dealing with an unruly, obnoxious customer. She was able to mix some of the margarita with the strawberry daiquiri for my husband, which was very tasty.

I tried the witches brew, which was amazing. She allowed us to try samples of the premixed stuff. And I appreciate her honesty with the everclear in a couple of them. I ended up getting a mix of the margarita and blue raspberry octane, to cut it down a bit.

Overall, it looks like they could make just about any drink (assuming) that you ask for. But the daiquiris were very good. And it was cool that there's a drive thru.“

“They don't sell food so couldn't give it 5 stars, But they do cook at times and it's free for customers and it's always good! The service is Good, atmosphere is good .. just wish more people would stop in.. it's a great place to play pool on any of their 5 tables, great place to meet friends for drinks and catch up!“
