“We reserved the peacock room for one of my best friend's bridal brunch. Everything was so good! Food was delicious. Bottomless mimosas were perfect. But the thing I really need to give kudos to is our absolute rockstar of a waiter, Joey. He was phenomenal. It was busy, he had other tables and we were seated UPSTAIRS- his only party upstairs mind you, but he was so attentive, friendly, kind, and never missed a beat, even in the most busiest of times, he made us feel like we were the most important group there. I’d be remiss if I didn’t give him a shoutout for making our large group feel so special. We truly appreciate it. 🙏🏼“

I had Ben as my server this evening and his service was extremely pleasant. He made sure that the table was happy and his attitude was positive. I had the bolognese lasagna-I highly recommend-and the drinks from the bar were delicious. “This is a great looking joint with a nice selection of beer in tap and liquors. Great for getting the office together or the guts to watch football or the game. Food was good but didn’t seem “original” to a place of this caliber. Prices are decent in this day and age at a place like this but the service… If you ain’t a local you get third rate service. The bartender disappears when I wanted to order food and my next drink. When she was there she had good recommendations and was polite but after I get a drink she would go associate with the locals and not pay one bit of attention. There is plenty of TV’s here for the game viewing.“

“I know this place very well! My girlfriend's Landlord, Mr John owns this bar and it's certainly a staple in Lafayette. Great live music on the weekends and a cool kind of local new Orleans vibe to the bar during the week days. Must check it out! Hope to see ya there!

“The Green Room is a Lafayette staple! The vibe is always on point. Whether you're there for the multiple pool tables, stepping into the spotlight for karaoke, or just enjoying a drink and the atmosphere, you can never go wrong by stopping in for a bit.
Earlier in the day, is a super chill vibe, with various people to converse with.
Later in the evening, you have more of a collage crowd.“

“Let me tell yall something, I love this place! I have been going here for the last few years and the service has always been great with friendly bartenders working hard while having fun as well. It's one of the few bar/clubs where I feel comfortable.
Music is what I've noticed hasn't quite changed in the last few years. I definitely recommend an upgrade and even some guest DJs would be awesome!

“I was passing through town on my way from Houston to Jackson Mississippi and I stopped for gas in Lafayette, feeling pretty tired from driving and wanting to take a break and honestly I just needed a quick drink because I was on my way to a funeral and I was really stressed out with work and family and all that stuff leading up to this trip. So I’ve never even been to Lafayette but I stumbled upon this place after searching for a small bar were I could have a quiet drink and stretch my legs so I decided to give it a try. The people here were so nice and welcoming to a complete stranger who walked in late at night. I got to hear a lot of the local’s stories and learned some history about Lafayette and it was just over great. I didn’t know what to expect when I walked in but I’ll never forget this awesome little place and how kind they were. I felt a lot better after leaving and I’ll definitely stop again one day when I’m passing through Louisiana again.“

“Really enjoyed this place on our first night in Lafayette after dinner. The bartender was very friendly, despite dealing with an unruly, obnoxious customer. She was able to mix some of the margarita with the strawberry daiquiri for my husband, which was very tasty.

I tried the witches brew, which was amazing. She allowed us to try samples of the premixed stuff. And I appreciate her honesty with the everclear in a couple of them. I ended up getting a mix of the margarita and blue raspberry octane, to cut it down a bit.

Overall, it looks like they could make just about any drink (assuming) that you ask for. But the daiquiris were very good. And it was cool that there's a drive thru.“
