I just want to thank you for opening on Vets. It has certainly made it easier to visit. The manager Katrina(?) is super nice, along with a very friendly staff. When I visit alone, I sit at the bar, and the bartenders are always welcoming and attentive. They make great recommendations and ensure I have a great experience every time. I went to the Ruby Slipper on Metairie Road today for the first time with my daughter. I ordered the brioche French toast. She brought it out and it all the toast was burnt. 3/4 of the bread was black. I could not eat but couldn’t tell the waitress because she never once checked on me. Finally she came and brought the bill and could see I didn’t eat a bite. She sent the manager over who asked if she could remake it for me. Ugh no. Chicken sandwich was dry and very over cooked! l’ve had much better at Popeye’s! Service wasn’t good either!
