“Good meal for a good price. Staff is wonderful. Went between lunch and dinner times perhaps the reason the restaurant was so empty. Lots of takeout customers though. Not fancy but good comfort foods and local favorites with a decent selection.“

Located on the LSUHSC campus, this cafeteria is pretty nice. It features a view of I-10 (A pretty sweet view I might add) and good food. There are several stations, but I usually stick with the sushi station or pre-made salads. The sushi station also makes poke bowls which they will customize to your liking. Add in that a poke bowl is a little over $10 and is very filling and you have one of the best values for lunch in the city. One of the only drawbacks to this place is that it gets kind of loud. “I simply love this place! We normally place a to go order on the app and it is the the quickest and the most convenient way to get REAL food. My wife's favorite thing is the baked chicken. My favorite thing is the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and we both love the broccoli, rice and cheese. If you're looking for quick reel food we would highly recommend this place. It's very reasonably priced and the staff are real people. (there not fake if you know what I mean)“
