“To give you a sense of the kind of service and care, the waitress informed us that she does not give a check until asked so that people can stay at the table as long as they like and not feel rushed. The owner is a wonderful character. He makes you feel like family and that is part of what makes the atmosphere so pleasant. Of course it's a restaurant. So it's the food that's most important. I had the grilled fish of the day .I can't recall having a better seasoned and cooked fish. Everything was wonderful. A little quirk is that they do not have hard liquor on the menu. It's available, but don't expect any exotic drinks. We will be returning.“

And she was able to help me pick out everything I could want since I was pretty new to everything. She is so sweet and deserves all the love AND big raise. “LOVE IT. this is my 1st time visiting Nola & I’ve gone to many restaurants..
This is 100% the best food I’ve had since being here. Greek is my favorite food & I can be a bit picky, but this place knocked it out of the park. Friendly service, homemade/authentic food, & they got it out quick!

She remained friendly, professional, and attentive despite managing the workload alone. However, it was apparent that the volume of guests and operational demands would typically require additional staff to ensure a seamless and efficient experience. From a customer perspective, the lack of support was noticeable and indicates an opportunity for improved organization and staffing during peak hours.“

“We dined in and upon first entering, you can tell the place is kept extremely clean and well maintained! The employees/manager welcomed us with a genuine smile and warmth. The menu is well-designed for simplicity and ease of use. I ate the shrimp platter and my wife had the chicken platter. Both came with a salad, hummus, rice, and pita bread. Neither of us got the hummus, but we both received extra salad. The plates were delivered to our table quickly, and hot! The shrimp platter had AMAZING flavor, not overbearing and not too typical of seafood - just perfect! The rice is to die for, and was probably my favorite part of the dish, which says wonders because I absolutely love my seafood! The salad was simple, yet tasty and crisp. My wife loved the chicken platter in its entirety! All-in-all, I'd give them a 4.9, but only due to them offering drinks in 12oz cans instead of out of the fountain, but its able to be overlooked for the overall experience.“

“I wanna start by saying that I was so excited that the Mediterranean restaurant opened up near us. I live in River Ridge and we love Mediterranean food. I went to Byblos and everything was clean, the staff was amazingly friendly. Their homemade bread was to die for. The only thing I have an issue with, is their menu. They say there’s vegetarian platters however the falafel‘s are cooked in with other meat. Which definitely makes it not vegetarian at all. You cannot cook vegetarian food in with meat. It doesn’t make sense. So unfortunately there’s many things that we think we can eat there that we cat. But I will say the things that I Did eat, were spectacular. Their soups, bean dips, hummus and their pasta dishes with vegetables. They were out of this world delicious. I would give this restaurant 4 1/2 stars only because of the discrepancy with their vegetarian food. I would be willing to even buy them a fire for separate use for falafel’s lol. Anyways definitely check out this amazing restaurant! I am going back today:)“

“We went family style with the grape leaves, fried zucchini, pork belly gyro and kebab gyro. Everything tasted wonderful. It was the perfect afternoon. The hostess was very charming and the atmosphere could not have been better. Highly recommended.“

“Don't let the location of this place fool you. I've eaten here countless times, and while picking up my salad with shawarma the other day, I realized why it's so good. The chef (also owner) was placing the chicken piece by piece on the salad rather than just throwing it on there. I ended up chatting with him and he let me know that he and his family cook at the restaurant just like they cook at home. There is true pride in ownership. If you haven't tried Shawarma on the Go, you're missing out.“
