Great little mom and pop authentic Korean restaurant! Ordered the galbi for me and the beef bulgogi for my companion. Both were excellent! They only have 10 tables and they were full when we arrived. Fortunately someone was leaving so we didn't wait long. Looking forward to going back for the bibimbap.
If you looking for authentic Korean , this is the place. This is not one of those Asian buffet or hotpot restaurants. However be aware that it is small and I would not suggest groups over four. First attempt with a group of six we could not be seated with 45 minutes before closure. Second visit with only three of us we were seated in fifteen minutes. However for those after us the closed sign went up with another 1 hour 15 minutes to go. So take that into consideration on Friday...
I went to NolaKorea twice during my 4 day Mardi Gras trip in New Orleans, and it was amazing both times. The food tasted just like authentic Korean food back home, maybe even better! The staff and the welcoming atmosphere made the experience even more special. Thanks James and Sammie!
