Always loved this place but online ordering is not well managed
It’s only after I paid for my order that they send a follow up text announcing the order will be ready in 30 minutes!
At this point I can only wait ( which I didn’t have 30 min) or get refunded
I’m told a refund will be placed later and not get it back for 3 days
Talking to the mgr to at least honor the order in 15 m is received by a bothered manner that will not try. Why not? You have my $$$ paid...read full review
I feel like calling the cops because we were robbed at this place. When we got home and unwrapped our poyboys there was nothing but bread. I will never return and only spread the word about how bad this shithole really is. Please fire your manager.

Short Stop Poboys offers excellent food with exceptional service, making it a top choice for those seeking a satisfying meal. The restaurant serves outstanding poboys, including the highly-recommended shrimp poboy #1 and roast beef poboy, accompanied by delicious fries and onion rings. The bread is decent for a poboy, and the quality and quantity of the food are impressive. The staff is amazing, and the atmosphere, although casual, is cozy and welcoming. This casual eatery provides a neighborhood poboy shop experience, complete with local items like Barq's and Zapp's, making it a must-visit for poboy enthusiasts. The restaurant is very family-oriented and friendly, and it’s popular for lunch, often with lines out the door. The drive-thru adds convenience for busy days. Visitors often feel like family, especially regulars, and enjoy the hospitality and respectful environment. The owner, Chef Mac, creates a place where everyone can enjoy good food and good times.
