This restaurant doesn't stick out from the street and I passed right by it. And I was looking for it. But it has been there over 25 years. Well it is a little small when you walk in but the service was really good. The owner was very nice. I ordered a whole muffaletta and when it was delivered to my table. I looked at it and said to my brother that was with me that looks different. Because they make their own bread and olive salad. Well I took a bite and said that it is really good. The bread was not really thick how so muffalettas are and it is hard to taste everything in it. But this was much better. With every bite you take you were able to taste the meat and cheese and the olive salad. The bread was krispy but not hard like some muffalettas are. We really enjoyed it. And I will definitely go back. It was well worth the trip from the westbank. I Googled it and we wanted to try it. And yes we were not disappointed.

Slow as hell. More than 35. minutes to make a pizza. Why bother. Sassy owner tooEDIT IN RESPONSE TO OWNER REPLY BELOW: See, I told you the guy was sassy. Believe me dude, when you were 40 minutes late with my order, I decided to stop shopping with you ever again. No need to “ban me” from your store. Fraudster.

Every time I've been here the food is always delicious. The red sauce is superb and the pizza and pasta dishes are always excellent. I've been coming here for years and have never had a bad meal.

For a cute little hole in the wall, this is some of the best pizza I've ever had. The owner is always working, so the business is always run efficiently and everyone is always nice. As soon as you walk in, you can tell everyone is working as hard as they can in order to make the food delicious and as quickly as possible! I'd give them ten stars if I could.Vegetarian options: They have delicious vegetarian pizza and stuffed breads. Also salads.Kid-friendliness: They will give your child a piece of dough and then bake it in the shape your child created! They have crayons and it's very child friendly!

Order a medium pizza online. Picked it up right at the time online suggested. Walk in the restaurant nobody was in the restaurant. Got the pizza home and it was cold. I warmed it up in the microwave and it tasted ok, but for $18.00 I am a bit disappointed.

A quick stop at this small pizzeria was worthwhile and very reasonably priced. Two drinks, a water, large salad, and medium pizza fed two adults and a toddler generously. A small pizza or medium salad would have been better for us, but the whole meal only cost a little more than fast casual would have and would have been about the same as fast casual if we'd ordered a smaller (more appropriately sized) pizza or salad. Drinks are canned Coke products, Dr. P, or bottled water. The Chef Salad was generously topped with meats, cheeses, and a couple slices of cheese bread/pizza, which were excellent. All of the greens were fresh; not a single wilted leaf was in the salad. The only down side was the dressing. I like that it's house made, but the olive oil tasted salty--like rancid oil (or Bertolli's)--and there wasn't any vinegar in it. We had a Meat Lovers pizza We loved the crust--Old World-style, thin crust with just the right balance of soft and crispy--and the ham was sliced thin enough to sear near the edges of the pie, which was also a nice touch. On the down side, the marinara was a little on the sweet side--like canned tomatoes--and the sausage had too much anise/fennel/caraway seed (although the texture was nice). Despite only giving THREE STARS for my first visit, the soul of a good pizzeria is good dough and fresh, house-made ingredients, which The Pizza Shoppe has, so i'll be back to try other menu items. While I probably won't get the Meat Lover again, we anticipate returning for takeout to try some of the breads or the Spinach Artichoke pizza. If we get the Chef Salad again, it will be to take home for a splash of red wine vinaigrette or a spot of homemade ranch dressing.

PIZZA is always great. Usually order for pick up and is ready in 25 -30 minutes. Have limited seating inside.

We love this place. If it had a slice counter, it would be like old school Brooklyn pizzerias. Kids making their own pizza for only $5 is worth the stop alone. The dough is so fresh that it has to be hand-made and tossed. They're not shy with the toppings either. Hands down one of the best around.
