Used to be nice and classy. Now it's crusty amd nasty. needs a good thorough cleaning. Janky tables and such. Trash at the entrace door. Just nasty. Will not eat there again
First timers…turned into lifers! We come to Monroe a couple times a year and this will become a regular stop during our future visits. Great Louisiana atmosphere, host and waitstaff were professional, prompt with seating and table visits and held good conversations. Our drinks stayed full and the crawfish were “chef’s kiss” and “slap ya mama” delicious! Looking forward to trying other menu items when it isn’t crawfish season.

Claw Daddy’s Crawfish and Oyster Bar is a must-visit spot with amazing food and a great atmosphere. The owner, Luke, is incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring customers feel welcome. Fresh seafood like chargrilled oysters, crawfish, crab legs, and shrimp are popular with visitors, evoking memories of home-cooked meals. Whether passing through or making a special trip, this restaurant is worth the visit. The bucket of Crawfish and blackened fish tacos are highly recommended, cooked to perfection with delicious flavors that will have diners coming back for more.
Recently, guests have praised their experiences, noting the cute and local vibes upon entry. The staff is described as nice and smiling, contributing to a fun atmosphere. One customer shared that they enjoyed the crab legs, boiled shrimp, and raw oysters, stating they were amazing. Another visitor highlighted the wings and boil platter, expressing satisfaction with the food and the quick service. The boil platter, which typically includes crawfish, mushrooms, and sausage, provided extra crab when some items were out.
Additionally, Fridays are a great time to visit for the crawfish special. The crawfish was noted to be perfectly cooked and well-seasoned, while the seafood potato received high praise. The food is consistently served hot and fresh, and everyone is described as very nice. Many guests feel so impressed that they would return just to eat here again, highlighting it as a top choice for seafood lovers. They have the BEST oyster that side of the Mississippi and a grill next to the bar which is a neat feature. The blackened redfish is amazing, probably one of the best prepared redfish meals.
