“Went here at the recommendation of Mt client I was visiting. I took them to lunch and I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken as it was the Monday special. It was delicious! The server seemed to not be ready to handle the lunch rush. I will be back “
“Originally opened in 1928. We always look for the local none chain restaurants when we travel. This place is hands above any chain restaurant. Grits made with butter and water. Biscuits and gravy were great. Loved the local patrons. Reasonable prices! Staff was wonderful.“
“We had SUCH an enjoyable time at the Eli bar with August! He was such a knowledgeable bartender and we enjoyed his company so much. My husband is sober and he was willing to make accommodations and work with him to create delicious drinks he could enjoy too! We will definitely be back soon!!“
“Top in for a quick bite after having to work late. Got the grilled catfish with two sides. Fish was delicious and cooked properly and well seasoned. The green beans were good and also season well if a tad on the spicy side. Love coming here and look forward to coming back.“
