I came with family on a party of 5, i wasn’t felling like drinking so I didn’t order but the others at my table order around 3 drinks each. When I ask the bartender wearing a flat cap for a cup of water he denies it because I didn’t order one drink. Awful service, dont go there’s other million places with better service and way better selection of drinks Not coming back and spreading the word

I came here around midnight on a Wednesday and they had a great band playing classic rock/blues late into the night. I left at 2am, but the band was still playing while the rest of Frenchmen was quiet! Fun time at this place!

Was there with my brother last weekend. Really cool spot with amazing music and atmosphere. We loved the music so much we stayed a good part of the night. The first bartender of the night was amazing! Unfortunately he left and a quite unfriendly bartender started. He got weirdly mad when I asked for a cup of water and he said it was a $4 charge, which was frustrating considering we had bought a ton of drinks throughout the night. I mean not a huge deal but there was no reason to be rude about it. Kinda killed my vibe and we left and continued the night elsewhere where they happily served me water

Accidentally stumbled upon a really great band in this hole in the wall (restaurant upstairs but we didnt go there). Nice bartender, great vibe!

I have never met such a mean bartender. I asked the bartender for a water because my friend was sick outside and he refused me aggressively. When I asked where I could get one he responded by saying “are you trying to fight with me right now?” Worst experience I have had on Frenchman st.

This place was not getting enough love The best blues band on the street tonight and for half the night we were the only two patrons. Bartender was friendly, band was great, and drinks were good. Would absolutely come back.

The addiction I have to the ocean sause at Adolpho's located above this bar is unmatched. Apple Barrel is not just a constant bastion of some of the best music that makes Frenchman famous, but the friendly staff also always delivers.

dont use a card in this bar . Ripped off by bar staff geek wearing glasses called Evan .
then had €50 stolen an hour after I left from my card . last place it was used apple barrel.
didnt give receipts at all in bar . according to bar $10 plus tax a shot and hurricane $13 . check your receipts . other reviews saying bar man Stole from them . owner took 7 hours to respond to initial email. lucky for me I'm here for a while so will go back in and get this theft sorted on persom .
