Security was extremely rude when my boyfriend accidentally went to the wrong door by the lobby when he returned. The entries look very similar and it was a simple mistake. Apparently the other door was a employees only area. Security was screaming and yelling at him accusing him of trying to break in( when he knocked) . This could be a beautiful old historic hotel but needs a lot of tcl! We paid for a French Quarter/Court Yard view and got an exterior wall and maintenance equipment view. Our room spelled musty, our drapes would not close completely so the sun was shining in our eyes at 6am, the toilet seat was broken, the coffee pot didn’t work. When speaking to the clerk at the front desk, she blew it off as it was no big deal!

I was charged the full amount of my security deposit and nothing in our room was damaged . I have emailed with no answer and can’t get anyone to answer my phone calls .
