Great music. We only tried the balls for snack. Good drinks. My cocktail was named Scarlet O’hara after the scarlet in gone with the wind. Pretty cool place. A must do spot.

Outstanding jazz band/lounge singer on the night I visited plus well-made traditional New Orleans cocktails. Hard working bartenders curved out a ton of complicated drinks quickly. I loved the whole experience. This was the traditional upscale jazz club I was looking for on my trip to the jazz capital of the world.

It was too loud for me. But it doesn't have much to say to others, I'm a bit sensitive to noise. Otherwise a bit of an upscale atmosphere.

This place is it's own vibe. It's such a chill place compared to some of the other local places, food is top notch, and I can't even begin to describe the bartenders, they're just beyond amazing. Absolutely a must in NOLA. Oh and make sure to try the basil old fashioned.

Bex, the fashionable bartender, is like New Orleans own version of sweet baby Jesus. Stellar cocktails, even better service. Any customer would be lucky to meet her!

Knowledgeable bar tenders. Actual mixologists. Very impressed by by their concoctions. The best bar I've been to in New Orleans.
One of the best places for live music, great drinks, excellent bartenders, and the food is so good! The truffle fries are my favorite.

Parts of Bourbon Street can be a loud and drunken mess. Yet, as you walk down (or off) the street far enough, things get quieter and classier. The Bourbon "O" Bar is a case in point, and a place Gayle and I enjoyed both a too brief respite one evening and the following afternoon. We shared drinks at a table by a window in the afternoon, but unfortunately it was too soon for music that we enjoyed the previous evening. We admired the "X sat here" chairs, conversed with the friendly bartender, and enjoyed settling in. We'd like to come back.
Ramos gin fizz done right!
