The crab cakes and sweet potato crunch were delicious, but the macaroni and cheese was the best I've ever tasted! The value is unbelievable, and the staff was friendly and efficient. You're doing a fantastic job!
Great experience! Food, service, vibe were all outstanding. Went twice in 3 days. When our flight was canceled (weather) we knew a silver lining would be to make it here and have the Thursday special.
Amazing food and service for an authentic NOLA experience. The young people working at the Cafe are inspiring.
Cafe Reconcile is a program that is used to train young people to work in the restaurant industry. The service can be spotty but that is to be expected and appreciated as young people are being coached on how to be good servers. The food is excellent and the staff is responsive and polite. Its a win win to go to the cafe and eat -- you enjoy a wonderful meal and you support a worthy cause.
The sever was very attentive and delightful. Food Presentation was great and delicious. My first visit, enjoyed and will hopefully be back for a visit net week. Thank You
Outstanding! This is our 2nd time in a month. We didn't make reservations the 1st time and we quickly discovered how busy this restaurant was. Super clean, professional and beautiful architecture. The food is beyond delicious and reasonable prices for the amount of food that you get. The crab cakes are full of crab with a little crunch and a shrimp cream sauce Turkey necks are meaty, and tossed in a generous amount of pepper jelly Our second time ordering the jerk chicken and the salmon. This restaurant deserves all the stars ⭐️ available. Outstanding.....service, food, presentation, professionalism and cleanliness. We love what YEP does for the community! Also, checkout YEP thrift store! We live around the corner and sometimes we forget the gems 💎 just blocks away.
Great food. Excellent community mission. It's great to see the young folks learning and training.
Loved the vibe! There on the Friday afternoon before Christmas and everyone was in such a good mood! Food was delicious, service great. Definitely on my list of go to restaurants now.
Great food - Portobello Plate was a wonderful tasting surprise. Onion rings crispy and melt in your mouth. Great shrimp Po Boy ( special tartar sauce - -and cocktail sauce ) with side of great Gumbo. The venue is bright and someplace great to take guests. Lunch only. Well worth the 10 min walk from our hotel.
Awesome! The best gumbo I've had in New Orleans or anywhere else. Everything else was also very good. Definitely plan to go back.

Food and service never disappoint. In addition, they have a meaningful and impactful mission.
The food was hot, fresh and tasty. Really enjoyed speaking with the young servers and their interest in culinary arts. Would definitely recommend and will return again next time in New Orleans.
I have always had a wonderful experience visiting Cafe Reconcile. You have to make a reservation when you're planning to visit, that is how good it is! This is a restaurant that I can always try a new item and be happy with the selection. The serving portions are always great! The food is fresh and well seasoned. The servers are always in good spirits and that is a great sign that management is taking care of them!
Go for the food which is great. sandwiches are huge and delish. The catfish plate was great blackened fish which may not be catfish but was great Service was a bit haphazard but good enough
Venue was busy at lunchtime. Food was flavorful & portion size was good. Trainees were attentive & enthusiastic.
