“Been meaning to write this review for a while. Was just daydreaming about Manolito and rememvered to write this.Visited in January and had an absolutely incredible time. This was kind of the crowning jewel of our trip to New Orleans. A lot of lackluster experiences down there but Manolito truly was a masterpiece. Small bar, historical atmosphere, very traditional cocktails (haven’t seen thrown cocktails in a while), incredible food, and a great bartender. Best bar experience we had while in town. Will definitely make it a point to stop back by. Hope they get the expansion the bartender was describing to us.P.s. - We have had MANY croquettes in our time and the ones here were among the best we’ve ever had.“

“I really wanted to hate this place. Another hipster gentrifying the neighborhood with their pseudo-ethnic cuisine. This rich boy, Banksy buying, carpet bagger…. I so very much wanted to hate it. But I couldn’t. It was just too good. The food was delicious. The prices were just right. The authentic tile work and gas station bathroom were absolutely delightful. The servers were raw and righteous. The way the owner spoke…. The little frogs…. The whole vibe just felt right. I couldn’t hate it. I loved it.“

“Caught up with this amazing pop up!! We stayed around the corner from Siberia. Amazing. That’s about all I can say. Our kids could not stop saying how good these were!! We had tacos: chicken and blackened shrimp. The sauce, the seared cheese and homemade tortillas were a killer. We also had the pulled pork nachos and they were, hands down, the best nachos to date, we’ve had :: coming from Chicago, we are always expecting something meh from other places. But, these gals got this down and with some amazing and new flavors that will keep you following where ever they go… hopefully they come to Chicago ;)“

“We are a couple visiting from UK and we were looking for somewhere a little different for food this evening- we stumbled across this little place and we’re not disappointed. From the minute we walked in we were greeted by friendly servers, a fun atmosphere and great music. The staff couldn’t do enough- so helpful, recommending places for us to visit on our travels and just being so welcoming. Food was delicious. We will be retuning!“

“The food taste great. What isn’t great is the price you pay for the meals when it doesn’t come with rice and beans. It’s considered a side item and you only get two. So not worth the price unless you have money to spend or it’s a special dinner. Picture on online ordering is misleading with the dinner plate. You think it’s already coming with the rice and or beans. Had my friend crying because she thought she was getting that with her meal for the amount she paid.“
