Evangeline Reviews
Crawfish and grits dish was fantastic. Spicy. Good Sazerac. Not crowded, but we were there around 6:30 for dinner. Good service. Recommended.
Made this reservation to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. We had the best experience and the food was so good.
This was the best meal of our 7-day trip! Justin was an awesome and attentive server. We started with delicious drinks and then had great apps and meal. Even the hater bites were something I would order again!!!
Evangeline is a casual bar and restaurant known for its great service and pleasant atmosphere. The old brick building creates a cozy and inviting environment. It specializes in local Creole dishes such as crawfish étouffe, jambalaya, and red beans and rice, all made in house. The jambalaya has a generous amount of rice, and the crawfish étouffe is rich and flavorful. Red beans and rice are also highly recommended. The menu features all the New Orleans classics, with dishes like gumbo, fried pickles, and crawfish, which are especially amazing. The red fish with Cajun pesto pasta is a must-try. The outdoor courtyard offers a relaxed space, though it is not always set up. Visitors enjoy the authentic flavors, spicy dishes, and outstanding service that make Evangeline a favorite in the French Quarter. It offers a friendly, laid-back dining experience at reasonable prices, perfect for enjoying local Creole cuisine.
