Evangeline is a nice bar and restaurant, known for its great service and pleasant atmosphere. The old brick building, with its terrific ambiance, houses delicious Creole dishes such as crawfish etoufee and jambalaya. While the jambalaya has a generous amount of rice, the crawfish etoufee is rich and flavorful. The red beans and rice are also highly recommended. The courtyard, as seen in photos, is not always set up. Overall, Evangeline offers a superb dining experience with reasonable prices, making it a favorite in the French Quarter.
