You buy a drink or pay cover, which is totally fair, but somehow 4 beers and a whiskey ended up being $80.
That aside, the atmosphere is great, and the music is fantastic if you are looking for jazz. The band was awesome. It seems to be unique in this 'neighbourhood' now that most bars play pop or karaoke.
Note that the restrooms are atrocious. You are better off holding it (even if you are a men). I hope this was just bad luck on our part, but it's a health hazard.

Hands down the best place in New Orleans on Bourbon Street. The band was off the hook, with the best authentic set of jazz. We were seated immediately, mixed in with locals and vacationers in the pub's open bench style seating which created a unique experience that allowed us to meet new people, share drinks and stories and love of the music. By the end of the night we made new friends and exchanged social media. The service is outstanding, the drinks are delicious and the atmosphere is electric!

This is first and foremost a jazz club. I have been here many times (about 50 in the last 15 years). The drinks are expensive but you are also paying for the high quality music since there is no cover charge. They sell some drinks cheaper from their window bar. The staff has always been friendly and the music is a perfect way to spend an afternoon in the Quarter.

This use to be one of my favorite bars on Bourbon Street until recently. I took a group of men to this bar a few weekends ago for a Bachelor party. I bought a round of Beers for 6 of us. The total was around $63. I thought that was expensive. I did not leave much of a tip, perhaps $5. And I just checked my bank statement, and they charged me a total of $80. I will never return to this establishment again. They are not honest. I am pretty sure I have my original receipt. If I can find it, I am going to report them. They are a bunch of crooks, and it really doesn’t matter the dollar amount. It could be $1 to $100; it does not matter. Stealing is stealing. It is the principle that this business stole money from me.

Didn't rate food, since they didn't serve food. I came for authentic New Orleans jazz and I got what I came for. This place is awesome.

It was a cool experience, but the hours on Google weren’t right and every time I tried to go there over the course of my stay. They were always closing early.
Otherwise, it would have been a fun experience.

First night I showed up really early, it took forever to get a drink because the bartenders were just talking so I ended up going to hang out in the courtyard before deciding to just leave.
Second night tried to come back to improve the experience or to at least see if it was just a one time thing, but they were closing at midnight, even though their hours had them listed as open until 2 AM.
Great band but overpriced drinks
