It's a great place to stop and catch your breath after sprinting through the \nFrench Quarter. Live music is quality ! Drinks are great. Anthony served us one day and was the bartender the next...excellent at both. \nVery clean public restrooms which is not always the case in the French Quarter.....\nThe park area has seen better days BUT still has it's own charm.
The taste of New Orleans was a good lunch time choice. My wife wanted a grilled seafood entree, but they only had fried, so she got a salad with grilled shrimp on it. She was quite satisfied with her choice.
I'm recommending the gazebo because I've always loved going here and never had any issues with the food, until yesterday. We waited on two drinks for 25 minutes and two meals for 45 minutes. The food was inedible, both poboys were doused in salt and the chicken wasn't cooked properly. I informed the server that it wasn't cooked and I couldn't eat it and she couldn't have cared less. We paid $70 for food that was left on the plate. Extremely disappointed...
