Grand Isle Restaurant offers outstanding service and food, with a must-try dish being the crawfish. The restaurant has a great happy hour and the shrimp boil is also a great option. Despite uncomfortable wooden chairs, the experience remains enjoyable. While the automatic 20% gratuity for small parties might surprise some, the overall experience of great food and drinks makes up for it. The Grand Isle burger and jambalaya are highly recommended, though the portion size of the latter may be small for the price. The hot crab dip is extremely good, and the fish dishes come highly praised. The setup and ambiance are great, and the staff, including Lisa the bartender and Tiffany the waitress, are patient, friendly, and attentive. The upfront policy about gratuity is appreciated, but the additional tip request could be improved. Overall, it is a great restaurant for any event or date.
