Joey K’s was highly recommended and I really wanted to like it. It’s my kind of place. I ordered the jambalaya and it was very dry. My son ordered red beans and rice. It was awful…absolutely no seasoning. He used 1/4 of the salt shaker to give it something. We ended up sending it back after he ate half of it (thinking we’d be mad at him for not eating it) and ordered him something else. Consistently delicious!! We make sure to always bring out of town guests here too!! It’s a definite New Orleans must eat!!! Love this place!
