The food and service here was excellent, no complaints there. But the restaurant needs to do a better job of ensuring there is no cross-contamination in their nut-free dishes. My girlfriend, who has a nut allergy, had a severe reaction to their supposedly nut-free Kolhapuri chicken, which resulted in needing an epi-pen, EMT visit, etc. If you have a nut allergy, you might want to choose another option.
We were visiting New Orleans after finishing our cruise from NOLA. A local family friend came to meet us where we were staying and asked us to join him for dinner. Margarita was good. Veg and non veg items were good too. Lacha prontha was not really that but onion kulcha made it up. Atharv was super friendly, competent and accommodating. We enjoyed it very much.
Excellent service on Valentine’s Day during Mardi Gras! Food was delicious; our table had a curry, a tandoori entree, and a biryani. I will definitely be recommending Lufu to others and returning myself :)
