Came here last night in a group of four and had a really good time, one of which had been before and suggested it. We ate family style and the food was so so good, with great service to match. We had steamed dumpling, green beans, eggplant, squid and a couple other things and it was the perfect amount of food. The food is absolutely delicious. We had sesame chicken, mushu pork, vegetarian egg rolls, dim sum, crab Rangoon. Ordered take out. If you want to eat at the restaurant it is best to get a reservation. The restaurant was full on a Monday night which is typically not a busy night for restaurants in New Orleans. This is my first time eating Miss Shirley's food. It's great.

Well, well, well… the place is packed for no reason. The rice with chicken, beef and shrimp had literally 2 pieces of each in it, the rest was rice. The sweet and sour chicken were very few in the portion… in egg roll the shrimp wasn’t cleaned…had the black line still on it.
Service wasn’t wow either, my rice was never brought to me and the meal was coming out separately so I sat there and watch my husband eat and then he did the same with me.
