I would not recommend. We were so excited that try this based on everything we saw but our experience wasn’t great. I had the spicy chicken biscuit and there was no chicken, just fried bits. It looked huge at first but as I searched for the chicken it was all just the spicy seasoned breading. Then the biscuit themselves were so over saturated with goo that there was no relief or balance in the sandwich. I can’t speak to the specifics of what my family got but they did not like it. Overpriced $4.50 for the smallest cup of orange juice. If you are visiting this place I’m confident you can find a better breakfast.

I visiting New Orleans from North Carolina and rolled into Molly’s after seeing an Instagram post. Make this your destination the next time you visit NOLA!The moment I walked in, I was greeted immediately.

I originally played it safe and ordered the chicken sandwich. But after sitting down, I noticed a man at the next table holding a bowl right up to his face, eating with pure love in his eyes. I had to ask what he was eating. His answer? A bowl of grits and collard greens.

I immediately rushed back to the hostess to change my order, and she was incredibly sweet and happy to do it. Let me tell you, it was perfectly seasoned and freaking wonderful!

I am a true fan now. Thank you for the amazing service and delicious food. It was the quintessential NOLA experience!

The food was excellent. I love the inventive twists on breakfast staples. There are also unusual things, like the rillette, which I haven’t seen on many breakfast menus in town.

I think a perfect 5/5 rating could have survived the hectoring sermon on tipping culture, posted helpfully on the wall as you approach the counter to order. It explained the rationale for a 15% service charge, with a single spaced full page of graduate school pieties. We are scolded about tipping being tool of racist exploitation, among many other solemn pronouncements. Truly, I’d have found this kind of eccentric nonsense almost charming, until the payment kiosk spun around to ask me for…a tip.

Now I hasten to add that the (very friendly) employee assured me there was “no wrong answer,” when offered the option to tip 5, 10, or 15 percent. I chose to tip 10% (not wanting to penalize this employee for the owners’ vanity and hypocrisy). But I think it’s not the right way to run a restaurant, and distinctly inhospitable.

Very disappointing. The spicy chicken biscuit was hard, overcooked and dry. Not very good. Biscuit was mediocre. The eggs and hash brown were standard fare. Nothing special. Atmosphere was unique but food was not very good

The biscuits were strange. Not the normal kind of buscuit I'm used to. Wasn't a bad meal but wasn't anywhere near the experience of Turkey and the Wolf.

Molly’s is so cute! There can be a wait, so plan accordingly, but it’s perfect for a nice breakfast in a unique setting. The collard greens are very spicy… but tasty. Great spot when you’re craving something indulgent for breakfast.

My wife’s biscuits and gravy were delicious.

Do not recommend the spicy chicken sandwich was not good. Chicken was over cooked and mostly burnt and way over seasoned. I love spicy food and creole seasoning but it felt like directly inhaling a whole can. But the biscuit part was delicious. The rest of the place was wonderful and the staff were welcoming and helpful. I love the 80’s/90’s decor.

Love the vintage decorations! The staff were so hospitable and friendly! I want to come back every morning! The regular chicken biscuit sando, the spicy version of it, and the biscuit and gravy are so flavorful and great portion size! Plenty of seating inside and out.

Stopped by Molly’s Rise and Shine and really enjoyed it. We ordered the Grand Slam, the Chicken Biscuit, and the Carrot Yogurt. Everything was well‑made and had its own personality. The Grand Slam was a solid, classic breakfast done right, the Chicken Biscuit had great flavor without being too heavy, and the Carrot Yogurt was a nice surprise — fresh and different in a good way.

The atmosphere is definitely unique. The space has a quirky, playful feel that makes it stand out from typical breakfast spots. It’s the kind of place you remember.

Overall, a great stop for breakfast in New Orleans.

Staff were nice and atmosphere was good. Didn't think that 3 breakfast sandwiches with egg and 3 coffees should come to $60 especially since we had to order before sitting, get our own utensils and napkins. Was not a fan of being charged 15% on top of everything just because. I think the experience was good for a 1 time ordeal but I don't think I would go back.

The food was just okay I ordered the mcmuffin thing and a coffee. My wife and daughter ordered the same thing. We all added an egg for 2 dollars and for some reason the bill was 60 bucs. I should have saved 45 dollars and went to McDonald's for 5 bucs a piece we could have had the same food. The rest of the menu looked weird for breakfast. I would have tried them for a lunch or dinner but the no waitress add on 15percent charge turned me off from eating there again. If you want your employees to make more money than pay them more money and list your prices correctly on your menu.

I came for the chicken biscuit and left sad and hungry. The biscuit was very pale and crumbly. Which turned this sandwich into a fork and knife situation. I cut into the first section of chicken but it was only crust. I cut the fillet in half and there was 1/4 inch meat to 2 inches of breading. After biting into the meat, I realized it was bland and chewy. I expected the thigh to be juicy but it was not. The breading was nicely seasoned but the chicken itself was not.

My daughter’s biscuit Sammie was drowned in mayonnaise. She scraped it off the top and bottom biscuit and sausage.

The cashier was hospitable and the atmosphere was decent but I couldn’t tell if our sandwiches came out inedible intentionally. The reviews don’t match what we were served.
