We were staying nearby and attending a conference at the convention center. This place was a short walk from our hotel. It was a great find. Drinks were strong and fairly priced. Service was excellent and the food was fantastic. I had the Catfish Mulate’s and my partner had a shrimp pasta. Both were outstanding. We also had the crab beignets as a starter and it was delicious. We were a bit early for the live music but would love to see that next time.

The live Cajun music sounds are classic. Real NOLA ambience...

Authentic. Very good. The food was very authentic and tasty and it was all cooked and seasoned very well, I only gave 4 stars on food because the Jambalaya could have had more Sausage and Chicken and less rice. The New York could have been a better cut of meat also. The crab in the Lump Crap Beignets was not ‘lumpy’, was more ‘shredded’ (which is my biggest complaint of most ‘Lump Crab Cakes’ I try) there was this one place in Chicago……. Anyways it was a great experience overall, I will go back.

My husband and I went there for apps and drinks. I had 2 margaritas, 2. I was so out of it before we left, I couldn't hardly stand. I remember nothing, absolutely nothing after that. By the time we got back to our hotel I was out cold. The first time I met woke up I was paralyzed, I could not move, I mean could not move. I had to pee my self because I couldn't move. Then my husband had the waiter call us a ride and some guy shows up on a bicycle and wanted to charge us $40.00 a person to go 4 blocks of. I was and ripped off. I think they were in on this together. Be very, very careful.Don't go there. Stay safe.

The vibe is there but the food is bland. No seasoning. Everything taste the same, like fried flour. Ordered the seafood platter and fried alligator bites and frog legs. It was a waste of money.

This place will give you a menu with the prices on it but when you get your bill it will be 5× HIGHER than actual cost because they will charge you extra for every little thing they do ! Straight up !! I'll never be back.

This is a large commercial restaurant. Nothing special in a city with lots of better options. The live music was an unexpected bonus.
