I had Shrimp and Gritts, BBQ sauce was delicious. Wife had the Grilled seafood platter. She only shared the fish so I take it she enjoyed it. The fish I had was very soft and also delicious. Root beer float and Nutella stuffed binettes were perfect to top it all off. Music was playing and people were dancing it was a good time. Got lucky and beat the dinner but there was plenty of seating.
Had to sit at the bar counter as they did not have enough waiting staff that evening. The bartender that evening was efficient, warm and friendly even though she was off her feet being busy.

I've been to Mulate's 2 of the 3 times I have made it to NOLA. This lunch trip brought a platter of options to the table. The group started with a dozen chargrilled oysters and Zydeco bread. The bread is a loaded French bread loaf with meats and spices. The table also ordered grilled gator salads, gumbo, shrimp and grits. A few Hurricane's even made the rounds for a full NOLA experience. Will def be back the next time.
