The BBQ shrimp and redfish are standouts, with the blackened red fish and BBQ shrimp pasta being highly recommended. The Gator bites are a must-try—they are delicious with just the right amount of Southern Creole spice. The crawfish étouffée and oysters with garlic and butter are also outstanding. Although some may not prefer the batter on the fried shrimp or the breading on the soft shell crab, the shrimp is cooked perfectly. The bloody mary and top shelf Margarita are highly recommended, and the red beans & rice dish with sausage is a decent side. The food is generally very good, coming out hot and well-plated, though some dishes could use a bit more seasoning. The restaurant is conveniently located just steps from Bourbon and Royal Street. The staff is friendly and attentive, with waiters like Damon being especially praised for their genuine service and great memory. Overall, Oceana Grill is a great choice for a delicious and satisfying meal in a fun atmosphere.
