The chicken cutlet with pesto and vodka sauce sandwiche is top tier. If the onion rings were seasoned, I would’ve been 5 stars. Great atmosphere and service.

Awesome spot with great food, bottle selection, deli, and desserts. Live music and bar seating. I got tiramisu and canned alcohol. Delicious!

We had the greatest time when we hosted our event at PauliesBest Italian uptown! Casual with great food! The meatballs are amazing, the owner’s grandma’s family recipe passed down!

Absolutely delicious!! My wife and I shared the Italian Stallion and the Godfather and it was so damn good! The bread is fresh and soft and the ingredients are fresh and perfect!! Met Paulie too and he was super nice! Highly recommend this place! And they cater for parties too 🙌🏼

Best eggplants sticks I’ve ever had! And don’t even get me started on the fresh Italian bread and chicken cutlets! The menu really can’t be beat, and there is nothing like getting great service from the owner himself.

Great local deli! Worth going out of the way to eat here! Ate here again last week and again they knocked it out of the park! My new favorite is the Manhattan project roast beef sandwich! Wow!

I got completely ripped off by uber/my uber driver and was given no help thru the app whatsoever. The uber driver was trying to blame Paulies and so I called them on the off chance that he was telling the truth. I wasn’t even expecting a refund or anything from them since it was Ubers fault. And then they offered to remake my entire meal completely for free without hesitation!! I picked it up 15 minutes later 😊 great service and great management!

Was actually served by Paulie himself who seemed like he more baked than the bread on my sandwich. He forgot our drinks and we were asked by another server if we had been served. After we told her Paulie had taken our order she kind of apologized with her eyes. I ordered the Italian Stalian and asked for hot peppers. Paulie recommended the pepperoncinis because the giardinieras may too hot but in kind of a condescending way. Being from Louisiana, nothing is really that hot, but I took his advice and just asked for both type of peppers on the side. When I finally received my order both kinds peppers weren’t hot at all, but tasted rancid like an expired hot sauce. Ruined the whole vibe of the sandwich. Went once before this without any problems, but after the pepper fiasco which happened a few months ago, everytime I order peppers on an Italian at any other establishment I’m reminded of how deep my defenitive hate for Paulie burns in my heart. The animosity burns more than those mushy peppers ever could.

This place had been on my list for a while so my hopes were high, but man. I can’t imagine coming back. Got the barbecue brisket sandwich—flavor was okay but texture was disgusting: so rubbery it was basically inedible. Maybe that’s on me for getting the wrong dish? Ordered take out and the service was fine, nothing special but definitely nothing to complain about. But for the price? Just not worth it.

Phenomenal food and atmosphere highly recommend! A taste of the big apple in the big easy.

Tried the Chicken Parm sammich and Fried onion rings. Add 2 beers and it was almost $60 😬 I don't recommend the onion rings and the sandwich was okay. Not worth the price and after the owner got butt hurt about the honest review.. I definitely won't be coming back. Take the Constructive criticism and upgrade yourself or just keep losing customers 🤷‍♂ Many other quality restaurants to visit 👌
