Hadn’t been since new ownership, was very impressed.
Thanks very much to the staff at Pere Antoine's for their exceptional service. I accidentally left my travel card there after breakfast yesterday but they kept it safe for me. Thanks also to our great server Shannon who reminded me: "I told you not to forget your card." But she saved the day and wouldn't even accept a tip! But I have a tip for you: visit Pere Antoine's whenever you can!
We were walking by when the host struck up a friendly conversation, and that’s what drew us in. We decided to stop for a drink and an appetizer, and I’m so glad we did! This place was a lively and enjoyable spot to visit before heading to St. Louis Cathedral. The bartender was fantastic—knowledgeable and eager to help me choose a drink. I ended up trying their strawberry lemonade specialty cocktail, which was delicious! The warm hospitality didn’t stop there; on our way out, the manager personally thanked us for visiting. It’s clear that great leadership plays a role in how welcoming and attentive the staff is. Next time I’m in the city, I’ll definitely be back!
Great place to chill, people watch while having a bite and a drink.

Great deal for the Quarter. Gluten free safe!
Our server, Chris, made the meal so much more enjoyable. He suggested drinks and entrees for each person in our party. The food was good. The atmosphere was casual and fun. They have gluten free options.

Slow service with only 2 tables in restaurant. Could not split ticket but didn’t share that until after service. No clue on GF but menu has it.

In a city filled with amazingly flavorful food, Pere Antoine’s stands out for its blandness. The blackened catfish was lightly dusted with spices, lacked flavor, and was overcooked. The gumbalaya was more like an undersalted beef stew with a cold scoop of mushy rice in the middle. And all of this at high prices for the area.
