My daughter and I wanted to enjoy the gorgeous weather so we walked over to Poseidon. It's right in the street car line. The place was nice and cozy. We sat by the window and enjoyed the happy hour menu which had enough choices to meet our taste. We ordered warm saki, chicken lettuce wraps and a crunch roll. The food came out promptly and fresh with a smile. If you are looking for a cool place to wind down and stare out the window while sipping warm saki, this is the place to go.

I'll make this short and to the point. The nigiri was horrible, the sushi rice was old, actually dried up and hard. The fish was not fresh. The service was slow in an empty restaurant. I was originally not going to leave a review, just never go back, however within a hour I was having stomach issues that night and most of the following day. As they serve escolar, a fish that is banned in many countries and known as diarrhea fish, (I urge you to Google it) assuming cross contamination as they did not appear to be thoroughly cleansing the equipment between cutting differnt fish.Also too expensive for portion size.

Start is great and food is good for price. However the server Winnie has been an issue multiple times. The most recent experience, she tried telling me I couldn't go to the bar because there was a $25 minimum just so she could get more in tips from the karaoke room. She's disrespectful, and lies in order to help her pay. She also after this told one of my friends to tell us we have to come back because the bartender felt overwhelmed, when the bartender was right in front of us saying she is fine.

Food isn't very good. Karaoke rooms are a nice private space, however, you just connect your phone to their TV and play YouTube videos. Was expecting a karaoke book of songs and a proper system. I basically had to take everyone's requests all night, find the videos, and queue them up to play. This was more responsibility than I wanted lol and was a drain on my phone's battery.
