We stumbled upon this place bc it was near our hotel and while It's unassuming from the outside, the food was delicious! And the staff is very friendly. Caribbean Paradise? Daiquiri- the tropical flavor daiquiri is THE best. Almost tastes like those peach cups you had as a kid. Seafood platter: comes with fried fish, shrimp, and oyster.The fish and shrimp were SPECTACULAR. Sooo tasty and loved the sauces that came with. Didn't love the oyster (but not a fried oyster fan in general), a bit chewy. Fries were excellent. We actually ended up coming here again during our trip, the second time we ordered raw oysters, etouffe, and a shrimp platter and a fish platter. Raw oysters were delicious and the etouffee here is also super tasty! Wish the platters game with more fish/shrimp, felt the same amount as the seafood platter.

Came to this place motivated by the great reviews, but ended up leaving disappointed I had the New Orleans platter, with gumbo, etouffe and the red beans and rice. It was just meh... My husband had the crawfish etouffe. He also said it was just meh... The food just did not taste like much. Considering the amount of great reviews, I assume we were just unlucky. Service was fast and they were attentive. So kudos to the staff.

Last dinner in New Orleans and one of the best!! We were greeted right away by Ari and got to choose our seats by the window. Ari was sweet and took her time to explain the happy hour specials and made some good recommendations. We had a dozen oysters which were delicious with the cocktail sauce, horse radish and chunks of salt. I’ve never had it with the salt and it gave a nice touch. My friend got the fish Po Boy sandwich, it had large chunks of lightly breaded, very tender and flavorful fish. The seasoned fries went really well with it. I got a whole fried red snapper with sautéed string beans and onion rings. YUM! The sauce on the side was perfect to dip and cover the fish in. I eat a lot of red snapper and this was by far, the freshest I’ve ever had. Finally, we got 2 for 1 hurricane cocktail drinks. Sooooo refreshing and delicious. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Wish we came here sooner! Snapper’s is a must! Thanks Ari!!
The smoky, alligator starter was really good. The chargrilled oysters were not. Prices were decent given the Canal street area it is located in. Service was great. I would honestly return just for the alligator.

Lovely experience at this restaurant! We came here in a large group. We did have a reservation and they had a big table in back waiting for us. Service was friendly and professional. They were so nice and took a picture for us! Everyone loves their food. Blackened redfish, oysters, etc etc.

Delicious! My surprise favorite was the red beans and rice. Sooooo good. I had the blackened redfish. It was a generous portion. I went with double green beans which was a good call. The green beans were my second favorite. My boyfriend had the salmon, fries and a salad which he said was good - but come on, we're in NOLA. Good service. Well priced.
