“Thanks to my friend Brittany, I discovered a true culinary treasure—Thai’d Up—and I couldn’t be more grateful. From the moment you walk in, the cozy, quaint atmosphere and warm, inviting staff make you feel instantly at home. The attention to detail is impressive—even the utensils sparkle! But let’s talk about the real star: the food. It’s nothing short of spectacular. This isn’t just Thai food—it’s Thai cuisine elevated to an art form. Every dish bursts with flavor, freshness, and care. You can truly taste the pride the chef pours into each beautifully crafted dish. The roti flatbread? Light, flaky, and downright heavenly—like eating a savory cloud. It’s a must-have every single time. The Pad Thai is hands down the best I’ve ever had, and the red curry is rich, aromatic, and absolutely delicious. An extra bonus? You can customize your spice level, which I love. If you like a little heat, I recommend starting with a level 1. Thai’d Up doesn’t mess around—those spice levels can definitely put some hair on your chest! If you think you know good Thai food, think again. Thai’d Up will completely redefine your expectations and keep you coming back for more. Once you’ve eaten here, no other Thai restaurant will compare.“

“Denied access to a legally allowed service dog without any interest in making accommodation. The dog tucked immediately under the table where she is supposed to be and the server (maybe owner) came over immediately asking for paperwork, which isn't required in the United States. Any paperwork provided is typically bought off the internet. Don't waste your time or money here. Sharing their intolerance on every platform. Also just found out that the person who told us we couldn't eat there laughed and tried to joke with the rest of our party and offer free drinks after the fact like that was going to fix splitting our dinner party.“

“Very very good Thai restaurant in New Orleans! Some of the best service I’ve ever had at a restaurant in NOLA, servers were so helpful and checked on us many times making sure we were satisfied. The green curry with tofu was AMAZING! My roommate had the Penang curry with tofu and it was also really delicious! Good prices too in my opinion. I will definitely be back here!!!“

“Food is amazing and the service is some of the best I’ve ever had.“
“I am a long time customer of the original Thai Zaap on Veterans. I finally had a chance to visit the new location- Thai Zaap Express. And it did not disappoint. The menu is slightly different and I like the variety. Looks like I will now be splitting my time between the two locations. If you are looking for delicious Thai food that is reasonably price, Thai Zaap is a winner.“

“The Tom Yum soup is just as I remember it from when I lived in Thailand. I got the shrimp tom yum, veey spicy, and was not disappointed. I will be stopping by more often for this healthy and hearty meal. Great for trying to lose weight. Light enough to be healthy but also hearty enough to be considered a satisfying meal“

“The food wasn’t bad at all—honestly a solid 8/10, especially for the price point and location. Everything was good, just could’ve used a touch more seasoning (a dash of salt on the fried items would go a long way). The lemongrass tofu was really good and stood out. Service was quick and friendly, making it a great spot for a quick lunch.“
