“We had the tofu satay to start with a peanut ginger sauce. Tofu was nice and crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. Beware the spicy factor for the sauce, it sneaks up on you! Main course was the tofu curry, one of the dishes the chef won best of vegan for. Great blend of flavors, not your typical green curry, but again watch out for the heat, this one was SPICY! Looking forward to trying the jackfruit next time we’re down. Oh and do make a reservation, it’s a small restaurant and they fill up.“

“Lunch was chicken pad Thai and fried dumplings. Service was quick and portions were fair for price and lunch. The pad that was mild(and for me to say it was mild it was very mild almost sweet)...could have used a little more spice and onion for my personal taste. Would visit again.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A True Gem in New Orleans East – Thia Nola ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dining at Thia Nola was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed not just as customers, but as family. Owners Gerald and Benji set the tone — their warmth, excellence, and passion for what they do shine through every detail. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. A seamless fusion of authentic Thai flavors and New Orleans soul, crafted with fresh vegetables straight from the garden. Every dish was more than delicious — it was true soul food, the kind that fills you with joy and leaves you smiling. I felt genuinely happy after my meal. The mango sticky rice, given to me in celebration of my birthday, was the perfect sweet touch that showed the heart behind this restaurant — thoughtful, generous, and unforgettable.
The staff? Top tier. Attentive, professional, and genuinely kind, they elevated the experience even further. This was our first visit, but without a doubt, Thia Nola has earned a permanent place on our go-to list. It’s more than a meal — it’s an experience, a celebration of culture, flavor, and hospitality at its finest. If you want award-winning food with love, happiness, and excellence on every plate, brought to you by a husband-and-wife duo blending original Thai food with NOLA flavor, look no further than Thia Nola. It’s not just a restaurant, it’s a destination.“

“I’ll be honest and say that Thai food is NOT something I know a lot about. But my lunch today was MAGNIFICENT. I had wonton soup and fried calamari. Both were delicious!! You can dine in or carry out. Great service. Wonderful people. Looking forward to going back.“

“I enjoyed my visit to Chill Out Cafe! I had a bowl of their Tom Kha and I enjoyed it. I had never seen tomatoes or carrots in this dish from any other Thai restaurant before, but I enjoyed the flavors of this addition. The calamari was deliciously crunchy. Our whole table ordered bubble tea but unfortunately they did not have enough boba left, as it was the end of the day. The thai tea and coffee was delicious regardless. I would come here again, and I hope to try their breakfast soon!“

“Denied access to a legally allowed service dog without any interest in making accommodation. The dog tucked immediately under the table where she is supposed to be and the server (maybe owner) came over immediately asking for paperwork, which isn't required in the United States. Any paperwork provided is typically bought off the internet. Don't waste your time or money here. Sharing their intolerance on every platform. Also just found out that the person who told us we couldn't eat there laughed and tried to joke with the rest of our party and offer free drinks after the fact like that was going to fix splitting our dinner party.“

“We stopped in 2 years ago with 3 teenage girls, 2 of whom are extremely picky. They still talk about how good the was here, and ask when we are going back to New Orleans so they can get more. It was delicious.“

“Thanks to my friend Brittany, I discovered a true culinary treasure—Thai’d Up—and I couldn’t be more grateful. From the moment you walk in, the cozy, quaint atmosphere and warm, inviting staff make you feel instantly at home. The attention to detail is impressive—even the utensils sparkle! But let’s talk about the real star: the food. It’s nothing short of spectacular. This isn’t just Thai food—it’s Thai cuisine elevated to an art form. Every dish bursts with flavor, freshness, and care. You can truly taste the pride the chef pours into each beautifully crafted dish. The roti flatbread? Light, flaky, and downright heavenly—like eating a savory cloud. It’s a must-have every single time. The Pad Thai is hands down the best I’ve ever had, and the red curry is rich, aromatic, and absolutely delicious. An extra bonus? You can customize your spice level, which I love. If you like a little heat, I recommend starting with a level 1. Thai’d Up doesn’t mess around—those spice levels can definitely put some hair on your chest! If you think you know good Thai food, think again. Thai’d Up will completely redefine your expectations and keep you coming back for more. Once you’ve eaten here, no other Thai restaurant will compare.“
