Everything was good except the catfish pieces were very skinny and so the tail section was dry and crunchy. The meatier part was kind of mushy. The Chicken and Andouille Gumbo was very good and generously meaty. Trimmings and sides were very good too. If they used farm raised, standard sized catfish fillets it would have been 5 stars.
1st time here, definitely not my last! I got a burger 🍔, & it's hand-formed patties, ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! I requested medium rare, & it was perfect....juicy, flavorful, exquisite 😋 Service was GREAT w/ Aja, super warm & welcoming. Aviation Cocktail good also! Highly recommend.
This was a nice find. We didn't want the touristic Hussle traps from the French quarters. We've been there, done that. Love it but tire of it. So we ventured into the saint Charles street side. Between the garden district and the business buildings. And it was nice to find this. They had lots of families that came ine while we were here. Some were large with bunch of kids and others were just like one parent with the one or two kids. Of course there were some just adults...
