We had the gumbo and biscuits. I will eat pretty much anything, but this food was possibly the worst bar food I’ve ever had. The service was fast and the bartenders were friendly. The Pimm’s cup was OK.
Great welcome to New Orleans. We checked into our hotel and walked street for a drink.
The bartenders were full of life and served us expeditiously.
We returned to the Schooner a few times for food that we enjoyed and capped off each night with a shot of Bumbo Rum here.

I have been blessed to live very close to this amazing hidden gem! I’ve been working my way through the entire menu and 🤌 always fantastic. Everyone who works there is absolutely delightful including the owners. Don’t sleep on this place! It’s fantastic!
