The food is excellent, but the store is very cramped and Service is short winded as it is just a daily mark. You have to walk off the beaten path to find it but if you do, it is truly a hidden gem if you are a tourist. My wife enjoyed it so much. She did not realize she was eating the paper lol!

If you're drunk and hungry, or broke and hungry, or maybe it's the only thing open... Then it will fill you up. We had chicken soup, chicken parmesan, and mac & cheese. The quantities were huge but the taste/quality left a bit to be desired. When it's late and you're hungry, it will do. Deli is in the back of a cramped grocery. Order at the register up front.

My first time here in New Orleans visiting heard about the famous Muffuletta sandwich and wanted to try it I picked Verti Marte a quaint but small friendly establishment! The sandwich did not disappoint very tasty huge in size I got mine warmed I will definitely go back when I visit to again 😄
